Built to Last

The Bigfoot Systems® Footing Form was definitely built to last. From the ingenuity used in the engineered design, to the choice of material, this is one part of your construction job that you can count on for safety and stability!

The Bigfoot Systems® Footing Form is made from recycled, high-density polyethylene which is environmentally safe for use underground. Not only does this material save trees by reducing wood usage, it diverts plastic from the landfills. The plastic high density polyethylene does not turn brittle or shatter easliy when used in cold weather. This product is also UV protected, so that when the sun shines on your above-ground installation, any degradation due to UV exposure will be minimized over time.

Our patented forms were engineered with the life of your project in mind: The ribs on the sloped portion of the footing form give added strength to resist distortion of the form from the backfill. The small vent holes in the sloped sections allow air trapped inside the footing form to escape when the footing is being poured with concrete, which prevents air pockets and honeycombing of the concrete . The sloped footing base eliminates any 90-degree angles and allows any ground water running down the pier to drain away from the footing. The sloped surface of the Bigfoot System® Footing Form creates a resistance area when backfilled which withstands frost heave and bending forces exerted against the vertical piers. It also acts as an anchor to prevent uplift in areas subject to high-velocity winds.

Make sure your next footing form is a Bigfoot Systems® Footing Form!
